I have a bigger SD card in my Evo (2.2) now. One of the things I wanted to do was to load lots of my pictures (about 5,000) on the phone so I could have them with me everywhere. (Of course, I resized the 5-14MP photos down to 1280x first).
I had not tried subdirectories before and I am EXTREMELY disappointed! My pictures are properly organized into main and subdirectories. However, the gallery application flattens the entire directory tree! Instead of maybe 10 main directories (albums) with subdirectories under them, I have 147 "albums" showing at the same time at the top level!!!
Needless to say, this makes it nearly impossible to find anything and terribly slow on the main screen. Is the gallery really this brain-dead and limited? I went into the menu to look for related options and found none.
Am I missing something, or I am just stuck with this? Thanks
