Gallery not installed

When I click on the gallery icon, in 2.1, it says, Application is not installed on your phone. How would I install the stock app?

Delete the icon from the homescreen/folder you are trying to run it from and put a new icon in from the app drawer. This should fix the problem.

Yea just boot it from the tray and place a new icon in. Should work fine.

Yep... Same issue this morn, and that fixed it. The icon immediately looked wonky so I had a clue it was from the old gallery.

so much panic! just re put it on your home screen.. not a big problem. the new gallery is awesome...
