Restarted phone in gallery trash was 313 mb after little time gallery trash shows empty, but device care shows trash still 313 mb... Somehow if restart phone it empty trash but like fake? Ok i try
Where can you back it up to?Better yet, try a third party program called f-stop gallery. It is so vastly superior to the built-in gallery program, I can't even begin to list the advantages.

Yeah the images , is that through like Google drive, drop box or similar ?Do you mean the program or the images themselves? The images I automatically have uploaded to the cloud.
I don't particularly see any need to back up the program and settings, but it does have a backup feature that backs up to the phone. I usually upload that to my hard drive in due course when I care.

Yes. I'm sure you're aware that you can turn on auto upload of camera pix to OneDrive. (F-stop pulls in all your camera images, like Gallery, but you can also have it search other custom folders if you want to for things you want to carry around.)
But what I like to use for backup is this syncing program that gives me more control over how things sync to the cloud and where they go, eventually automatically landing on my desktop as well, considering how I have the cloud programs configured.
Bonus, the sync program it is not limited to just camera pictures. I can sync documents and other things as well.
I can decide to upload only and delete everything on the phone. Or I can do a two-way sync. Or I can download only. And I can put anything in the exact directory I want it to go into in Google drive or OneDrive.
This is the explanation for Google drive. They also have a similar program for MS OneDrive. I have both. They work the same. I don't use dropbox, but I believe they have one for that as well.

Look for drivesync or onesync on Google Play.
Sweet , I'll look into this , thanks!
Thanks for the tipOh, btw....I should issue a warning. As with all things that offer more control and options, it gets more complicated until you learn how to use it. Make sure to test it first if you use it. I once wiped out a directory on my desktop unintentionally with the wrong setting. (Fortunately, I have good backups everywhere and Google Drive also has a trash bin to restore.)
Only did that once, though. And it's a great program.
