The application gallery has stopped unexpectedly please try again later. Any fixes for this without factory resetting?

Humm unfortunately the stock gallery is the worst gallery I have ever seen in all of the android phones I have had.. I second Coyotewayne go to the Android MArket and get yourself the best Gallery app there is which is QuickPic ..

Is there anyway to set QuickPic as the DEFAULT gallery? Meaning if I take a picture with my Camera and then hit the thumbnail to view it, it opens in QuickPic and not the standard gallery.

yes check the settings, you can set it on whatever viewer u want or de-select and have the options to choose after taking pic.
