Xonix Blast is remake of far-famed Xonix game. It mostly similar to the father's version for PC, where you need to sweep over a field, cutting off chunks from it with your moving trajectory. Cut off parts unite into filled area. So, you are required to fulfill a field as more as you can, avoiding the enemies.
Authors of Android version decided to add additional features: during the game you collect different bonuses, which affect successful level passing. Ones of them slow down enemies or stop them, others accelerate player. If you picked up a missile, you are able to calm enemies with it, if you got a teleport, go instantly through enemies area to safe region collecting bonuses on your way. You are given additional points for well-done level (quick fill or overfill). Have you got a lot of points? So, go to Ammunition and buy additional bonuses. Or buy assistant bot
- same game device as player has. It will pass level with you, filling parts of field.
The game has several types of enemies. It worth to mention the most dangerous ones. Blue ball lefts mines behind it. Red ball splits off chunks from already filled field, thus making these chunks dangerous area again. So, if you have got missiles, it is better to use them against mentioned enemies.
Xonix Blast contains many levels of various difficulty (free version has 32 levels, full version has 96 levels). Although difficulty increases gradually as it passes, the number of coming bonuses and the value of reward for every level increase too. Therefore playing becomes more interesting. Especially because field is gradually filled with some colorful landscape you can admire if you will be able to apart from playing.
Controls are quiet simple: flick direction you want to move. Reverse moving is disallowed into dangerous area with enemies. Use double tap to launch a missile. Long press is for teleportation.
