So, I have a question for you all. Why do Android Apps use so much CPU power? I was playing Flow, an Android game on my rooted EVO Lte, and I noticed my battery draining. I went to CPU Spy to see what's up, and it shows that during that gaming session, about 1GHZ of CPU Power was being used to power the game. Mind you, this game was a very simple graphics game, not like a graphic intensive game or anything. And so I ask, is it really necessary to use that much power for a simple game and if not how do I go about lowering the CPU frequency to something not totally ridiculous to play these games?
