Games Randomly Just Close

So I love the phone but both my wife and I are having the same problem... if we're playing a game such as Fieldrunners HD or GraveDefense HD we'll be playing and all of a sudden... poof game is closed... no popup for "force close" or anything... it's just gone.
Similar to this, if the screen saver comes on, sometimes games will be closed as soon as I unlock the phone - I can understand that though... annoying, but easily worked around (don't let the phone sleep while playing a game)
This is my first android phone (if you don't count playing around with android on a Touch Pro 2) so I have no idea what's causing this... if it was a windows phone I'd say the phone was being too aggressive about closing programs that are taking up a lot of memory.

Basically I'm looking for a way to fix this. Any help? Thanks in advance!

Are you accidentally touching the home button while playing? It's very possible...

this has been reported by multiple users on xda developers as well. it looks like it's some kind of a glitch. i don't think anybody knows what causes this yet.
I have not tried this on mine.

Ah excellent - I haven't been over there to look at stuff for our phone yet - busy weekend. Thanks for the tip and I'll keep an eye out!

Also, to answer the other question, no its not hitting the home button, but I have done that before Thanks though!

[Q] Apps shutting down like closed with task manager - xda-developers

Will best buy take it back for this? I returned my 3d for this phone through sprint but I can't stay with a phone that tweaks out by running applications .

Replicated it on every recent game I've downloaded. This is horrid.

Is there a time frame? How long were you guys playing? I've played Homerun Battle 3D, Uno and Jewellust and it didn't have an issue. Maybe more graphically intense games?

On xda they tried simple games as well . I crash at the same point I'm every game. I will give it a week or. I will try to exchange back to a 3d. I hope it isn't a pain because I exchanged the 3d for this phone. Ack!

Why not contact the Devs for the games so they can add a simple update to support our phones. this phone just came out with a different chipset then the others so give it time. At Sprint you get 1 exchange so I think you will be able to anyway.

Priorities? You mean wanting my apparel to function? I thought that was a primary focus of Android. Without Apps I might as well be running a Samsung instinct.

I know samsung is slow with updates so this might be a problem for a while... I might have to go back to my evo 3d. Games are very important to me. This really sucks because pretty much everything else, other then touchwiz, about this phone I love.
