Gaming on the G Flex 2

Hi guys,

Im thinking about getting this phone, prices are very good now. What's it like for playing the graphically intense games after the 5.1.1 update? Does it still overheat and throttle after a few minutes resulting in choppy performance?

Performance is super good. Mines does heat up a little but that's cause I was playing My games with the charger plugged in.

Mine ran well on 5.0.1 and runs just as well, if not better on 5.1.1. Gaming has been great. I play CSR Racing quite a bit, sometimes for a couple hours straight, and the device runs great. I played LIMBO for about an hour and the device was perfect. I have also played Oddworld:Stranger and that game is graphically intense. The device got hot, but the phone never lagged or stuttered. Not during gameplay nor after gameplay. Granted, Oddworld was played while I was on 5.0.1 not on 5.1.1. Any throttling that may be going on, it isn't anything you're gonna notice, not on gameplay, video playback or general phone usage.
