Gaming performance on G3?

So, basically I'm between either getting the G3 or the M8. And I'm wondering how the G3 does at gaming in comparison? I know that it didn't do too well in benchmarks, but those don't really tell the whole story. I don't want the games to hitch and lag all the time.

I am playing Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger 2. No lag issue at all!! Asphalt 8 is very smooth

Both run flawless. G3 gaming performance is great.

All the flagship phones will play games at pretty much the exact same performance. Generally speaking.

No issues with Dead Trigger 2 at all. The only game I have an issue with is Fast and Furious 6 but I highly doubt it's the phone. This game has never been stable but I like it. Every once in a while it freezes up so I have to lock the screen then choose a lock screen app then open recent app list and close it. Or it just force closes. But this happens on my iPhone and previous phones and tablet. Asphalt runs great. Tempted to buy Modern combat 5 but seems like the whole DRM thing are causing issues if you lose a connection or a slow connection and I need WiFi to play online so that is a big downfall for me.

I'm sure everyone's experience will vary, but how much battery percentage is eaten up after about an hour of playing dead trigger 2?

Well that's different story. I can get about 2 hours of play time before its dead. Full brightness with sixaxis controller

I'm going to get in on the gaming now that my extra battery with cradle is in the mail! One battery for daily use and the other for gaming.....oh yeahhhh!!! lol

Even with the 801 processor and 1440 screen, games runs smooth. Initial review said the 801 won't be able to handle it but it handles it just fine. I was playing PS1 games with a sixaxis controller just fine with HDMI hooked up. This phone is perfect for gaming.
