Gave up my IPhone for the Note

I've had my Note 8 for over a month now, and it gets better every day. Prior to that, I used a Note 4 for 3 years and a Note 2 for 2 years before that, so I think I might hold onto the 8 for a long while.

iphone is find if you just do texting and calling, but it lacks the features for power users or people who use the phone for a lot of stuff.

The Note 8 an absolute beast. My recent phones from the start Moto OG Droid - Galaxy Nexus - LG G2 - S6 - S7 edge(dropped) - Note 5(replacement).

While each new phone purchased was better than the previous,(Note 5 was a downgrade Vs S7) performance would palpably feel slower/stagnant within a week or so of use. This is honestly the 1st time the phone has felt as good as it did the 1st day.

The memory management is easily what stands out the most but it just does everything fast and reliably. Display is gorgeous and somehow Samsung keeps making them better. Coming from the Note 5 glad to have great battery life again, not S7E good but will last me the day. Foresee keeping this phone for a good 2 years. I'm sure the Note 9 will be amazing/fingerprint in front but man did they knock this out of the ball park!

I left the iPhone 7 plus because after using the first iPhone, and the the 4s thru the 7plus, i feel like there wasn't much innovation involved. Each iPhone has similar experience and I'm just got tired of it and wanna try something new.

I had the s3 which I hate, then the note 5 was great but traded it in for the iPhone 6s plus and apple watch when it first came out. Sold the apple watch cus it was unnecessary to have. The note 7 came out, and I traded the iPhone 6s plus for it, but the recall happens and had to go for the iPhone 7 plus. Now in with the note 8 and for the s3 gear frontier and it's been a month now... It's great! I rarely use my iPad now, only when my phone is out of battery. My iPad has the iOS 11 which is bad... Made my iPad air lagged and the interface is complicated comparing to the prior version.

I'm happy with my note 8 and s3 gear frontier.

I also left Apple bc the iPhone 8 is an absolute insult and slap in the face to Apple consumers and the iphone 10 will not be in any type of supply for months--which will **** off people even more.

So I am not a loyal iPhone user, with that said I gave that piece of junk up for the new beast THE NOTE 8. I usually go back and forth from Apple to android, but them days are over. The note is so much more of a better device than my old 7 plus. The days of me saying, well everything just works on the iPhone is long gone. I have found so many bugs on iOS that to me it's unusable. My note on the other hand just works...

The new beta on iOS helped a lot but I feel ya. Apple did not do well with this update. All of us are beta testing for all the premier Apple users that of course won't have anything but the iPhone X.

You made the right choice note 8 is an monster
