GB 2.3.6 will be out monday

After a day and a half my battery is draining faster on the stock 2.3.6, 6h 18m in this charge today im already at 49%, and thats with little to no use, it just sits in my car right outside a radio tower from work. With Froyo it would a full 10h and still not hit 50%.

You leave it in your car?? If you do that's your problem right there. Your battery is done.

I finally flashed 2.3.6 after staying stock since I had this phone. The latest build is a HUGE improvement to this phone. My battery (with moderate use) lasts all day for me (from 7:00 am - 11:00 PM). Granted, I am not a power user (don't play games) and use the phone to text, talk and surf the web. I am in a mostly 4g area. Those of you waiting for this to push out, don't wait. Just follow the directions for Odin and you will have a "new phone."

The new build makes this phone run the way it should.

This is actually a steady leak. Havnt noticed really any issues. Running this ROM with ICS Theme. Of course Debloated, Rooted and Deodexed.

Thanks for the number vi3t. But I'm glad Terrigno brought this up - the Debloated version is borked. They left the double media players in (music/video) but left out daily briefing? This makes one of the primary features of the dock useless. Whoever did the debloating dropped the ball on this one.

It would be nice if we could get a debloated, rooted, deodexed touchwiz-less rom. But this is faster than Gummycharged for me, even with LauncherPro. Very impressed.


Edit- Wait you themed this? It's a Samsung rom... you mean Launcher/Icons/something else right? The only thing I want to change is the color of the damn dialer and the text messaging app. Things still look like ass to me.
