GB/Root question.

I was one of the unlucky few to get the FIRST OTA GB update late Sept. But I rooted afew days later. The question is would I have to get the newest GB update from Verizon then re-root or am I ok to keep my root? Cuz a friend said I needed to get some 605.3 or something. Im new to the whole rooting thing.

For the Verizon OTA... you would have to unroot to accept it.

You can just flash the new GB RUU to the phone without unrooting. It will wipe all of your data however so make sure you make a backup.

Also.. if you're using custom ROMs.. which I see you are.. all you need to do is use a Gingerbread ROM built off of the latest build and only update the radios if they are newer then the last GB update. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet so I'm not sure. You only need the OTA or leaked RUU if you want to stay stock... otherwise just use a custom ROM running off of the latest GB update.

Maybe someone else can help with that part.
What ROMs are running off of the latest GB build?
and were newer radios released with the new GB build?
