GB update sure did some screwy stuff

GB is the worst. My phone will not text to certain numbers after the upgrade.. WHY?
anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I have the same problem. And my Sense restarts about 10x per day now. GB destroyed this phone; I'm pretty ticked. I'll explore the root/fix someone mentioned over at XDA, but I'm done with HTC phones. Too bad, I like Sense for the most part, but this lack of testing is up there with Google offerings.

I hope I'm posting in the correct place. Since the update here's what has happened to me (if anyone has any suggestions)
I receive emails on the phone as always. The day after the update I no longer receive them in Outlook 2007 on my laptop. I've been to Best Buy (where I bought the phone) & my ISP, here's what they have changed:
Best Buy: The changed the 'Protocol' from POP to IMAP-emails worked for a day
ISP: they had me change the account type to IMAP (it was POP). The incoming server name changed from pop.charter.net to mobile.charter.net
Problem persists. If I go into the account settings in outlook and 'test email' I get the test email from Microsoft. If I delete the email account from my phone and change the account type in Outlook back to POP, I get the emails on my laptop.

I know Outlook isn't something people here may be able to help with, but the issue started the day after the update??
Thanx for any suggestions, I'm to the point where I will try almost anything.

I know what you mean, i have been a fan since th 6600. switched to BB when the Tour came out. Switched back for the shift and am wondering if i should wait till 2020 before giving them another try. They have fixed the overwhelming majority of bugs but.... the hassle is trying at times...

Ya know what pisses me off more than anything.....how false the commercials are basically putting the EVO as top of the line and they are far from it! Gingerbread ruined this phone I quite liked it until then, my BF has the original EVO and can do even less than me....he can't play a single video aftger the update. Now I am having problems getting certain websites to work. Very frustrating!!!! Does anyone know if the motorola droids have any where near the problems we do?

If they don't fix this Sense reboot issue soon I am going to move to the new Iphone 5 (Sprint). I've almost had enough of this HTC crap. It's a shame a high quality, high end phone can't work as designed. I do love the Android OS but enough is enough.
