Gear 2 Neo Double Notifications

For some of the third party applications that I have on my Gear 2 Neo I'm receiving double notifications when my phone only receives one. For example, I have Twitter notifications set up on my phone to notify me when specific accounts tweet. And when I get one of these notifications on my Gear 2, it shows two of them even tough my phone only records one. These double notifications are exactly the same, it just comes in twice (my watch vibrates two times more than it should). I originally thought this was specifically an issue with twitter, but now I'm seeing it happen on Snapchat notifications.

I do use LightFlow for notifications and I also though this could be part of the problem. I disabled the LightFlow application to test this theory and still got the double notifications. Can anyone help me out with this? Its getting rather annoying, is there maybe a setting that I'm missing?

Thanks, Kyle

That's a problem from twitter and the other apps. If you google you will find lots of other with the same problem.
For me it was solved when i use TweetCaster as twitter app.

I get the same issue, only with Facebook. My Samsung Galaxy S5 shows that I received 1 message from Facebook. But when I check my Gear 2 NEO, I see two identical messages. And yes, very annoying. I am still looking for a solution.

I'm not sure I buy that. When I fire up my Samsung Galaxy S3 with OS upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.2 my Facebook app makes a sound and vibrates every time I get a notification. But when I use the same exact settings on my Galaxy S5, I get no notification sound/vibrations and neither does the Gear 2 Neo light up to tell a notification came in.

I retract my previous post. It does not work on my Samsung Galaxy S3 running KitKat 4.4.2. I still get double identical facebook notification where my phone only shows a single notification.

Instead of using Gear Manager to manage my notifications, Used "Notify Gear". Even when using that, I still get double facebook notifications.

He may have a point. Still no solution to this irritating problem.
