Gear 2 Neo - no text notifications

Hi all, I've just got a Gear 2 Neo and love it. All is working well except I don't receive text message notifications and I don't know why. Other notifications work OK just not text. I'm on O2 in the UK. I have got the messaging option checked within notifications but nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

What device do you have? Are you using the stock Samsung messages app?

Hi I'm using a new Note 4, not sure what you mean by the Samsung messages app, I'm just using the normal "Messages" on the phone ie text messages. Thanks.

Yes that's the one. It should work, if not try to reinstall gear manager

Thanks. I reinstalled gear manager, still no good. I then simply tried switching the watch off and on again and bingo it magically started working! Thanks for your help.
