Gear 2 Neo - Pedometer paused itself on January 1st @ 12:00am

Just noticed this now and was curious if anyone else had this occur.

My Pedometer history showed no activity dating back to January 1 @ 12:00am and when I checked, sure enough the Pedometer was paused. I clicked resume and now it seems all the steps taken during that time have been applied to today only.

My husband and I each got a Samsung Gear 2 right before the holidays (AT&T had a great deal that we couldn't resist). In any case, BOTH of us have had our Gear 2 pause inexplicably. When we noticed, we have to tap the screen, which causes it to bring up the resume button. Clicking that gets the pedometer going again. Unfortunately, I haven't figured out a way to prevent it from stopping/pausing itself on its own (because neither of us ever tried to turn it off or to pause it any of the times that it happened). It's very frustrating because we normally don't notice until we've lost 1000s of steps being counted, so it would be nice for Samsung to correct this flaw.
