I received an update today for gear manager. A welcome change was being able to map recent apps to home button....double click. Nice!

Mine was set on that when I got it. I didn't see any changes to the watch or settings with this update. Only gear manager.

Oops. Maybe I missed it on the first go around lol.

Got the update to the Gear app this morning. Haven't noticed anything different on the phone app or the watch.

They've changed the layout of the Gear Manager. Someone grab a screen shot before the update, now I can't remember what was different, but I know the layout changed. It also reset "auto-update downloaded apps" to be over WiFi by default (I know this because all my apps started updating).

Also SOS works now (it didn't work before for me).

Once your Gear app has updated on your phone, try rebooting both your watch and your phone. Doing that seems to have fixed my weather updating problem.

S2 Classic with Galaxy s4 running 5.0.1.

I also received the new update, which I was hoping would fix a few issues I have.

1. Screen turn on when receiving notifications, even when on charging dock.
2. Clock always on, working.

Now I'm not receiving any notifications. I have a Sprint Note 4 Edge and T-Mobile Gear S 4g. Not sure if this makes a differece.

I have power cycles Phone and watch. i'm trying not to factory reset because I just loaded 280 tracks to my Gear, which took a little time, hand picking each song.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated,
Charles

On Verizon, I'm able to sync a playlist from the phone (Note 5); if you have that option maybe you could make a playlist on the phone in case your gear resets? As a Gear (1) and Gear 2 owner I can attest to resets being not entirely uncommon...

Sorry to diverge from the thread.
