Gear S: Pedometer stopped working.

Just noticed my steps for today were a big fat zero and that my pedometer isn't functioning at all. Also noticed that I can't wake the watch by flicking my wrist so obviously the motion sensor isn't working. I tried resetting it and made sure all motion settings are checked. Any ideas before I have to give in and send it back? Gutted!

You could try to enter test mode by typing *#0*# in telephone mode and then tap "sensor" button. Chech the gyroscop and if it is not showing any values, that means it is not working.

Thanks. I forgot I posted this. I let the battery completely drain a few days ago and once it recharged it was working again. Really weird. Hopefully it keeps working. Thanks for your tip though I never knew you could do that and it's really handy.

Yeah but only once since and it worked straight after a reboot this time

I've only had the Gear s2 for a month and today the pedometer quit working. Can it be replaced or start working again?

I Have this problem occasionally when I install a watch face that has a pedometer on it. I don't have this problem with all watch faces that have a pedometer. I tried making a watch face with watch designer and had this same problem. Once I uninstall the offending watch face the pedometer starts working again.. This could be a symptom of a larger problem.. I did make sure everything was up to date.
