With the latest update I received, it now appears that my Gear S2 Classic supports sleep tracking, whereas it did not before. Was told to use "Sleep As Android" but that app was a hassle.
Went so far as to purchase a Chinese sleep tracking band just for that purpose, and now my Gear S2 seamlessly sends sleep tracking data right into S-Health...
Pretty happy about that - BUT also with this new release they broke the passcode entry screen - it's ignoring the setting for rotary keyboard. I hate having to use the pin-pad style password to unlock my watch just because I have Samsung Pay installed.
