One of the benefits to wearable tech is that it allows you to turn ringtones off in lieu of vibrating notifications from those wearable devices. The problem is that, once you silence your phone, the silly "Find Your Phone" feature becomes useless.

Suppose your slippery Galaxy S6 falls between the cushions of your couch while set to silent? "Find Your Phone" will not help you there.

I'm finding that there are a few annoying oversights with all of Samsung's smartwatches. Because they are on Tizen and not Android Wear, we are not likely to see apps developed to solve these problems. If you want ten thousand clock faces, the Gear family of watches is for you but, if you want functionality, we might need to wait a few more years for someone to invent the proper smartwatch.

Once I read your post I put my phone on vibrate and tried on mute, the find my phone feature worked just fine. My phone rang very loud when using this feature.
