Gear S2 notifications while phone screen is on?

Is there any way to make it so my Gear S2 can let me know if I receive a message or notification while my phone's screen is already on? Like similar to the Moto 360? It already does it pretty well while my phone is off and such, but when I'm on my S7 edge, sometimes I don't notice a new notification up top...

Yes, there's a setting in the Gear app (on the phone) under "notifications" called "Limit Notifications". Turn it to "off" and your gear will notify you even if the phone screen is on.
