Gear S2 paired to Moto X Pure edition, should the voice be automatically routed?

I paired my new gear S2 to Moto X. When I have an incoming call both devices indeed ring. Issue is that when I pick up the call from my Moto X the voice is still going through the watch, not through the phone itself. Should the voice be automatically routed through the phone because I picked up the call from the phone, not from the watch?
