This morning my Gear S2 watch of only 1 yr old randomly disconnected from my S9+ this morning. I checked my phone and there was an update to the Wearable app so I ran the update thinking that was the concern. Now it won't reconnect at all. I called Samsung support and after running all the restarts and resets, they want me to pay $80.00 to send it in to see if they can fix it. I only paid $130 for it new so I'm not paying 80 to see if they can fix it. It's crap and I'm super frustrated!!
