Gear S3 Frontier losing connection to S10+

Why does my Gear S3 Frontier keep losing its connection tom my S10+? I have reset to factory several times. The phone says it is connected but the watch is not picking up notifications. I had no problem with my S8+. Any other suggestions?

I have just did a hard restart (turn off for 30 sec, then turn on) to both devices and no issue, hope this helps
