Gear s3 Samsung pay rewards?

Does anyone know if we can get the rewards and promos for using Samsung pay on the gear s3? I have been using mine exclusively since I got it but realized that it doesn't seem to get promos or reward points like it does on my note 5.

I have an S7 Edge and a Gear S3 Frontier paired to it. I use Samsung Pay on both devices, and regardless of which one I use I receive Samsung Rewards points. When Samsung offered the $15 rewards card for three purchases with a Chase card, purchases from my watch didn't count towards that (much to my dismay), but otherwise Samsung Rewards seems to work seamlessly between the two devices. I'm not sure why you're not getting rewards points. Maybe you should check that you're logged into the same Samsung account on the Gear app and on your phone's Samsung Pay.

Random sidenote: I'm curious how Samsung Rewards would work with a Gear S3 paired to a non-Samsung phone, since the Samsung Pay portion of the Gear app doesn't show rewards totals. Anyone have any information?

I guess I just assumed I wasn't getting the rewards on the watch. Because it's two different apps I guess. One's Samsung pay on the phone and one is in the gear app on the phone. But yours is linked to the rewards on the phone app and not the gear app one the phone when you use the gear s3?

Samsung Pay on the phone app is totally separate from Samsung Pay within the Gear app. I have the same cards registered in both apps, and I am logged into the same Samsung account on both apps, but as far as I can tell they are completely separate. I don't see any reference to Samsung Rewards on the gear app, and when I make a purchase with my watch, I have to check the Pay app for my phone in order to see my rewards balance.

I haven't done anything to link the two apps, nor am I aware of any way to do so. As far as I can tell, the only reason I get rewards on my phone for purchases made through my watch is because I'm logged into the same Sansung account on both apps.

Good to know. I have only been using Spay on my phone & not my watch to make sure I receive my rewards.

I do see my points go up in the phone app. But we are not seeing any watch promos. Just with the phone. Like the $15 chase promo or $5 promo cards.
