@rocketsaucev2 instructions are correct. Drag an app or widget to your homescreen and then to the left until an additional screen is created.

Sorry if I'm totally missing something but I normally use Nova Launcher and want to play around with the default launcher. I only like 3 screens but whenever I switch to the default launcher, I am given 5 screens (2 on each side of the "home"). I tried adding a 6th one but am unable to do so and am unable to delete a screen either. Am I doing something wrong? Or do I need to delete the Nova Launcher option from Settings->Home?
