General Bluetooth usage question

I recently switched from an iPhone 8 Plus to a Note 9. I used Bluetooth extensively on the iPhone, so I had hoped I could use Bluetooth just as well on the Note.

1) When I ask to read messages, it reads ALL messages, including messages I've already read.

2) I cannot seem to get it to read my email messages, the new ones, that I get. Should I be able to? I use both the default email client for my work email and ProtonMail for my personal mail.

3) Reading and responding to WhatsApp messages, is this possible via Bluetooth?

Set up Google assistant or if you can speak to Bixby and it understands you, that, to do these task and then yes you can do all of that and more vua a Bluetooth connected headset. Bluetooth on its own is only a connection medium, nothing more. I suspect that you were using Siri on the apple ?????? system.
