Generic Voicemail Message

Hi all. My first post. When I set up my voicemail, it is not giving me the option for the "generic" message that just gives callers your phone number. It only prompts me to create my own. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Wow, another person other than me actually wants this greeting. You ask Sprint this question and they'll get lost. I've talked to three different Sprint reps (called *2) and they all told me to delete the greeting I recorded. This didn't work.

I was a bit more impatient the fourth time, so I put my phone (that I called my voicemail with) on speakerphone. I kindly asked the rep to guide me through. Heh! She got lost and told me to hang the voicemail phone up. So we give it a go again and this time she tells me to hit...

4 for personal options -->
4 for personal preferences -->
3 for recorded name -->
3 to delete recorded name

That worked for me. I had deleted my greeting a few weeks before. Those who still have a greeting and would like to get rid of it would press...

3 to change greeting
7 to delete active greeting
