Let's not start any arguments here. Seems like in Germany they're getting a lot of returns due to the display and eye discomfort.

"The criticism focuses primarily on the unclean display of texts and icons. Users see frayed edges and an unpleasant grain. Many find looking at the screen to be stressful for the eyes. In a direct comparison, the older Galaxy S25 Ultra looks sharper and also superior in terms of brightness"

Let me correct that under maximum privacy settings yeah all viewing angles it just keeps people from looking but normal privacy no issues , I set for messages/banking apps/phone app etc.

Haven't had any major issues yet but haven't played with my phone a lot yet today.

Anyone remember before the LCD TVs, playing Nintendo, Sega or Playstation in front of the analog TVs or using desktop PCs? I'm 42 and playing video games in the 90s hours at a time eye strain is real, especially with those old tvs!

And......another post on this...

I have not had any vision issues myself using the phone. I also do not use it in privacy screen mode full time, why would you IMO.

With that said I don't want to discount some are having this issue, everyone is different and different things effect everyone different. I would suggest deep diving the display settings and see if Samsung set something by default that you usually have turned off or set differently, compare your settings from old phone side by side.

If you can't fix it in settings, then by all means return the phone, it's obviously not for you and Samsung needs to figure out why it effects some this way when other models do not do this.

I also googled this issue, this phone is not the only phone that can cause this. Maybe Samsung has the screen set to bright..I don't know but I'm sure Samsung is digging into this hardScreenshot_20260310_070757_Samsung Internet.jpg

Exactly. Not sure I'll ever really use maximum privacy because it washes out the colors. But with the normal privacy settings it looks great. It would be nice to have a separate settings for apps with both normal and maximum.
