Like it. How is camera protection? Are magnets strong enough? And how long will it take before the clear bumper turn yellow?

Camera protection is ok. Nothing major but lens are recessed to not stick out of case. Magnet is pretty strong. I like the fact that the case has certified Qi2 charging. I have the case for my S25U and it just started yellowing on the sides like a month or so ago and I had the case since the release of the S25 although I switched between 2 cases during the year of ownership.

After trying half a dozen different options, I've gone back to Velvet Caviar - I like the higher screen lip and "sticky" feel, and the designs are less masculine than so many of the cases out there. They didn't have the same print as my s23+ (which I loved, because it was easy to see in my bag!) but the one I got is fine. Hoping they drop some more colors in coming months so I can get something closer to my preference, but this is fine for now.

Fwiw, the Velvet Caviar has a cut out at the bottom camera (ie the lip doesn't completely enclose the bottom xaner) - this worries me a bit about protecting that lens housing, but the payoff is that the phone sits completely flat. I always use a lens protector so I'll just get one that covers the housing.

The VC magsafe version is so strong that NOTHING is going to move - ideal for a car mount!

I did order the snazzy Torras vegan leather with the built-in ring and metallic trim, but I felt it was very overpriced for what it is, and the sharp edge on the ring didn't feel good to hold. If the price drops in coming months I might get one, but $60 is too high imo. The - more protective - VC was $40, minus the 20% off coupon I had.

I used to like Burga but they are way overpriced so I switched to Velvet Caviar about 3 yrs ago with my S23U. Luckily my favorite cases were still avail for the S26U plus a couple of new ones. Priced right with nice accessories make them a winner in my book.

Anyone having heat issues using magsafe cases with regular wireless charging? My cases without magsafe work great with minimal heat but magsafe ones cause the phone to get super hot. Sometimes wont even charge at all.

Today I received the brown one for my wife and the gray one for me, excellent material, excellent protection, much thinner than I imagined.

This one is better looking than the ones I currently see on their website (although those seem pretty nice). What model is this? Am I just looking at it wrong? The ones I see there have metal rings on the inside showing (fine) and the camera bumps don't look as nice as yours. Which model is this? Yours look very tempting

I haven't noticed that problem. I use an old 3 in 1 Samsung wireless charger with my magsafe cause.

Some magnetic cases can cause extra heating if the magnetic ring is not ideally aligned with the induction coils. Especially if cases also too thick, creating a lot of space between the phone and a charger. Basically you put a metal between the induction coils and it will heat up. I had several combinations of chargers and magnetic cases that didn't work well together. Some combinations caused the charger to interrupt the charging process soon after a phone was placed on the charger. Some did charge, but heated up. It was never a dangerous level of heating, but definitely hotter than normal charging.

100% agree. This is my 3rd VC case and the only reason I even looked at others was because I wasn't crazy about the designs on offer for the 26u when I ordered, but this one is actually quite nice.

I've added a Syncwire ring/stand (which makes a great photo stand) and am really happy with the setup. The 26u is so much lighter this time round that it's not that different from carrying the 23+, so it's a great combo.

I bought them on the brand's website but I found them on Amazon and even with a better price now that I want another color, I'm sure I'll order it on Amazon.

It may not win any beauty pageants, but the Nillkin Camshield Pro case does not rock AT ALL. (Also installed a Nillkin Magnetic Ring for MagSafe mounts).

Just upgraded from Samsung s9+ to s26 ultra and am feeling VERY overwhelmed at having to research everything about the new paradigm, incl protective components. Thinking about getting Spigen AluminaCore tempered glass screen protector [Glas.tR EZ fit] and ESR lens protectors, so let me know if y'all think either of those is a poor choice

But now I am having a hard time finding a case. My s9 case was great but the company that made it (ProCase) doesn't make a parallel model for the s26 ultra. I want a leather 'wallet' style where there is a cover that closes over the screen. I don't care about it having any slots for credit cards, etc. Some of these 'wallet style' cases for the s26 ultra have cut out the whole top left corner of the back of the case where the camera lenses are, as opposed to just cutting out the section above the lenses. I prefer models where just the he section above the lens is cut out, as opposed to the models where the whole top left corner is cut out. Very willing to pay extra for something of quality.

This is leather, it feels pretty good and the camera detail super stylish, I bought the gray for me and the brown for my wife. I have the black pending for the next purchase.
