UPDATE TO THE LATEST FIRMWARE NOW!
Samsung have started rolling out their newest monthly Android 5.0 firmware update, OK5, to the international G900F model, on a much higher changelist, #6364590, than even the Android 5.1.1 releases which Samsung has, thus far, chosen to bypass on their own Galaxy S5 models. This update includes loads of firmware improvements, bugfixes, new bootloader and the all important latest security updates.
Unlike the carrier branded minority variants mentioned in 41 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide the international G900F owners are spoilt for choice and have over 150+ different firmwares worldwide that they can flash to their phone. To check your model of phone go to... Settings > About device > Model number
Make no mistake... this is NOT rooting and will not trip your Knox Security flag.
You don't have to wait for the latest high changelist, #6364590 firmware, OK5, to be released for your CSC and Product code. You can download it and simply flash it to your phone by following the instructions and video in the links of #1.11 of the aforementioned guide.
I would strongly recommend making a note of your phone's, "Version", codes, as per #1.8 of the guide, prior to flashing, so that you can return at any time to your original firmware in case of warranty repairs or if you wish to receive future updates via OTA or Kies/Smart Switch.
Whilst this is a, "No wipe", update and your data, photos, apps and files should remain intact during the update process, I always advise backing up before any firmware update. See, Backup! Backup! Backup! NOW!
I would suggest flashing the unbranded Nordic Countries release, NEE, mentioned, here to your G900F model, as this has no carrier branding or bloatware, leaving 12GB of free internal memory for users and comes with 45 different, worldwide, language packs.
ROOTING THE NEW FIRMWARE (optional)
Also, unlike the non Samsung firmwares, these are stock Samsung releases and are therefore open to rooting by carefully following the instructions in this guide... [SM-G900*] CF-Auto-Root if you wish to quickly and easily root your firmware. Please read the instructions carefully and thoroughly before proceeding.
