Get US IP to access GP Books, Movies, etc...

Hi everyone,

I don't have my Nexus 7 yet because I live in Portugal but I want to set this up as soon as I get it.

I want to be able to access all of google play, netflix, hulu, etc because I want to get the most out of my tablet, I know how to use proxies to get a US IP but only on the browser and I bet that won't make a difference when launching apps and because of that they will detect my real IP and I won't have access.

I'm new to android so I don't know if there is an app that can use proxies to give me a US IP and with that trick the apps into thinking I'm in the USA... Is there such thing?

If not, then the IP trick must be done outside the Nexus, right? I would probably have to set up my pc with a proxy and have it as a server to my Nexus 7, right?

I'm not aware of what can or can't be done, but there must be a way and I want to know how, and I bet this will help out a lot of people too since google doesn't seem to care about countries besides the USA...

The combo of those two will get you access to Netflix and Hulu.

Alternatively you can set up a VPN (doesn't require rooting) and have your connection go through that and use companies like Hide My Ass (http://hidemyass.com/vpn/r6668/ - this is a referral link, feel free not to use it )
