Getjar??? Plz help, totally confused.

Hi.

I'm new to android, I was disappointed to see I could not get the bet365 app on the play store. I looked on bet365 and it told me to get it from getjar.

I dloaded betjar and I got betjer rewards, tried again and got betjar rewards again.

What is betjer?
Is there a download centre like apples app store for android or ar there lots of them?

Android is infuriating so far!

Welcome to Android Central!

It sounds like its an app store outside of Google Play. I would be weary of installing that on my phone. Is the Bet365 a gambling app or something?

Play is the main app store and is ran by Google. Amazon also has a legitimate Android app store. I think I've heard of one or two others, but Play and Amazon are probably the most trustworthy. I wouldn't trust getting apps from unknown sources because you could get a buggy app, more potential for malware, etc.

Fyi, if you get an app from Amazon, it's tied to them and won't update through Play, and vice versa.
