Getting Ready to Root Question

I found a great tutorial to use on You Tube, here is the link:

The tutorial seems pretty clear, however my NC is version 1.1.

The tutorial only gives directions for 1.0.1, so my questions are the following:

* Can I use the file for 1.0.1 to root my 1.1 NC?

*In the tutorial, after putting the SD Card in the NC, the directions are to plug it into the USB and leave it there, turned off, for 5 minutes, however my understanding is that with Version 1.1 the NC automatically reboots 2 minutes after being plugged back in. Because it turns on automatically, when should the SD Card be pulled out? Is it immediately after it begins to boot, or pull it out just before the 2 minutes are up?

Thanks for your responses, I'm very anxious to give this a shot and get it going.

I watched the video by huskermania on YouTube. I also had the 1.1. software. he has the file for the 1.1 listed in the video info. but I used the download from this website. I wanted to see what the finished product would look like so I would know what to expect. I found out that when you plug the nook in it will start to boot. It did not stay off like the video said and the boot animation was different as well. l let it boot all the way up and ran the setup for Google mail with the card in and then turned the NC off and took the card out before starting it again. I took the card out before the load was finished and it hung on the boot. a hard rest fixed the issues. YouTube - How to Root a Nook Color (PC Version)

For 1.1, you need auto-nooter-3.0.0 from here. It works great.
