Getting ready to root...

So I've been doing some reading, and I'm about ready to take the plunge. I just have one question, and forgive me if its been answered already. I understand I violate my warranty when I root, but if for any reason I have to take my phone back to verizon, if I return it to EA28, can they tell I rooted it? Basically, if I go back to stock I still have my warranty right? Thanks in advance for your help.

yeppers, if you flash the back to stock version you are good to go from what i understand

I doubt they'll even look at your version number. But yes, if they do and they see it is a stock build for this phone they will have no clue (or care) if it was previously rooted.
