Getting started on a new rom for optimus s.

Ok I have a new HD with Ubuntu 11.10 on it. I started the open source thing for the code I get to the first part of downloading but it for some reason wont init repo. I need help

I'm not sure what you are asking here. Is this a prob with an Ubuntu repo?

How do I install report python and the other download link. Because I have tried everything. I figured out my passion in life and its developing and I love to do this. I just need the support from other devs.

3. Using Ubuntu, your best tool for installing software is going to be Synaptic. I have found that some things work out better if you run them locally out of your /home directory folder, such as Android SDK, but all the libs and dependencies should be installed via aptitude or Synaptic.
