I just bought the Note 8 from the samsung website. It should be coming this week. I am currently coming from Iphone and before then was windows phone. I am fully ingrained in the microsoft ecosystem.

1. office 365, including onenote
2. onedrive
3. outlook.com email.

Where I differ on is I utilize icloud for contacts. I haven't figured out how to export icloud contacts into either outlook.com and or gmail.

Are there any other suggestions you have with somebody who is coming from iOS and windows phone?

I have used android before with the mytouch 3g, LG G2, and Galaxy S7 Edge. I didn't have them long due to either stablity issues or battery issues.

My perference would be a windows phone but they don't make them anymore.

Use smart switch to transfer contacts to your Note 8 and they will be backed up to your gmail once you log into it.

Microsoft makes a nice launcher that integrates with their apps, that are also nice.

All the Microsoft apps work great on the note 8 you won't have any issues. I personally use blackberry hub for email.

I would like to keep icloud as my main contact center. Can you add contacts to icloud from the Note 8?

I know you canconnect and sync contacts connected to a email in samsungs contacts, so I assume this can be done with icloud aswell. I can't test it has I no longer use icloud

What do you use for contacts and calendar? I am using the BB Hub as well but feel the other apps are redundant. Thoughts?
