GG3 scratch resistance

How scratch resistant is GG3? I know I'm going to get a slew of people telling me to get a screen protector but I've never liked the experience whole using one. I hate cases too but find myself trying different ones throughout the life cycle of my phones.

Recently while taking off a snap on case the phone was resting on my leg. I got one side off which released the phone and gravity took over. This caused the case to rub against either the screen or side (can't tell which) on the way down. Is industrial grade plastic that would be used in snap in cases something that could scratch GG3? I ran my finger along the edge of the case and didn't feel any sharp bits but still would love to get some feedback and make me feel a bit better.

GG3 is supposed to be one of the better versions for scratch resistance and it's why LG used it. On the flip side though, GG3 is not very good for cracks.

You really should read this and watch the video. The screen in their test broke rather easily.

Thanks for the feedback. If I crack the screen I have insurance to replace it. I was more concerned with something less catastrophic that I'd have to live with and wouldn't use insurance for.
