Ghost Notification

Hello! I'm getting increasingly frustrated by a "ghost notification". My phone buzzes and there's nothing new.
This started happening only after I was required to update to Android 9. My phone is a Moto Z3

I have checked NFC and bluetooth, both are off. I have looked in Accessibility and cannot find any option for notification reminders. I've downloaded a notification log app, and nothing shows up there either!

It hasn't done this once while I'm using it, only when I'm holding it by my side (with the screen off) or when it's sitting beside me unused.

I'm getting very frustrated, please help! How do I fix this?

See if this works for you. Go to the Moto app, select the features tab, then Moto actions, and then turn off lift to unlock. This is the only thing that could come up with as a possible solution.
