GIF keeps turning into a still picture?

So I made a GIF and tried to text it to people, but as soon as I send it turned into a still image. I then went into the gallery and looked at new GIFs, and they look like still images in there too. The only time I saw the animation was immediately after I captured it. Issue??

Yeah mines is doing that too. Not sure how to fix that. I'm curious to learn as well.

I don't get that but when I do make a GIF its fine when it previews, but when sent, the image is zoomed in and cropped to hell with a black bar on the side...I don't get it

Same for me as well. Useless function if we can't send as a GIF once completed. Why put the share button if it has issues converting?

If some Note 7 users are facing such issues, I guess a software udpate from Samsung (hopefully it will be faster on latest flagship) will fix it

Yep, like I mentioned I could do one or two, but had another 3-5 fail. Tried high quality and standard. Odd it shows up working in gallery, then when I try to send it via text, it jams up and then shows up in gallery as a still.

I wish someone had a solution. I had 1 out of 7 actually go through. They even became still images in my gallery now. I don't get it.
