Hey All I rooted today and installed the latest BAMF. Realized after the fact that it requires the gingerbread radio. Adrynalyne has a thread about "flashing" the radio.
1. is there a "how-to" on flashing a radio?
2. which of the radios provided by Adrynalyne are people having success with?

Thanks

This is the link to the mr2 radio for using Gingerbread roms: [RADIO] The Obligatory Thunderbolt Radio Thread - xda-developers
Its the last set of links (both are the same) in the first post: Alpha Gingerbread radio

-Download the radio.
-Rename the zip file to "PG05IMG" (pg zero five img) if its not already named that.
-Do not unzip the file, leave it as it is.
-Place it on the root of your SD Card (do not place it in any sub-folders).
-Reboot your phone into bootloader... power off the phone.. turn the phone back on by holding down the power button and the volume down button at the same time until the phone starts in bootloader.
-You will be asked to install the zip file.. say yes with the volume up button. The zip will unload and when its done you will be asked to reboot the phone.. yes.
-You can check the installation by going to menu.. settings.. about phone.. software information.. baseband version. It should say 1.39.00.0508w, 0.01.69.0510w_3

After the installation, take the pg05img.zip off of the root of the sd card. It will cause problems for you if you ever need to go back into recovery through bootloader.

Instead of selecting Mount as Disc Drive when connecting your phone to the computer, first select Internet Pass Through and then try selecting Disc Drive. It should trigger the USB storage on your phone.

Or you can just download the file from your phone but I'm guessing you lost cell phone coverage with the Bamf GB rom without the radio... if you have a wifi connection you can use that.

Or downgrade the rom back to Froyo so you get your cell service back and download the file from your phone.

did you download with a pc and move it to your sd card?

file might be named incorrectly - you can use a file manager to navigate to it on your phone, and make sure it doesnt say PG05IMG.zip.zip - sometimes pc's hide the file extension so you get it twice in there.

Also, check to make sure you're downloading a Gingerbread compatible radio. You will get unknown as your baseband version when the radio is not compatible. Which radio file did you download?

The following link is for the MR2.5 radio, which is the most current leak compatible with Gingerbread.

I was having problems with those links also. They say GB radios but for some reason I don't think they are the correct one. This is the link I used without a problem:[Radio] [Leak] Official MR2 Radio 1.39.00.0508w, 0.01.69.0510w_3 - xda-developers
There were some reports of the 2.5 radio being unstable. If you have any problems with it, try out the 2.0 radio. The link I just posted definitely works and is the correct radio.... I was looking for it earlier for you but couldn't find it... finally just found it now.
