Is there a stable gingerbread rom out there for EVO yet. The one I have seen here doesn't have 4G working yet..

Nothing to stable yet, CM7 nightlies should be coming soon and they should be relatively usable...
But for some experiemental ones you wanna mess with hit up XDA

Have you tested each to see if they're stable, before saying that?

Mine is stable enough to run every day, all day, if you can do without 4g, video rec, and hdmi. Just like the other GB roms

Hows the GPS on your ROM? I use my GPS every day it must work correctly.

The newest builds have camcorder working. I stick to the builds from Lithids since its CM7. The screen ON animation is *****en. Just like the screen off ;-)

Big D5, I tried this rom out yesterday and found the GPS to be unstable. KommyDroid has done good work and you do get the gingerbread feeling while using the ROM. I am with you on the GPS though... It is a must for me, but I will keep my eyes out for any updates KommyDroid. ;)

(I had to use the same trick used on CM7 when you have to go into the maps first and then google nav from the maps.) However, I was able to get a GPS fix once or twice without going into the map app. It took like 3 to 5 minutes for it to lock though.

Yeah, some people have problems others don't with it. I'm pretty sure the fix is simple. Give it a build lol

I've found if you open Navigation (it will say "waiting for location") then open maps you'll be good.

So, Sprint is releasing the new Nexus S 4G with Android 2.3. How long do you think it will take for Evo and Evo Shift users to see it?
