Yeah I was following that yesterday, jumping in now on build 4.

It's slow and appears as if it's using a cyanogen kernel to get the rom going w/the Evo's hardware.

Love the aosp boot up screen, didn't get a cool power down animation though.

so that makes sense... *No Pun*

Yup, I'm just wondering if any new source modules are available with gingerbread to compile said kernel that will come out when the source is released.

this build is using 2.6.35.7.cyanogenmod toastcfh@oldschool-evo #154

I'm a little confused with that, I thought google would have to have released the kernel source to compile this version for android.

Is he getting the source for compiling from the main linux branch?

IDK but from everything I read everyone has said its the Same build
