Gingerbread sound quality issue..

Does anyone know if there is a sound patch for Gingerbread like they had for Froyo? The sound on speakerphone and earpeice is distorted compared to Froyo, I though it was just a mental thing but I use VVM and I have played a number of messages and they all seem distorted even the one that has been saved and played a number of times without issues hearing.

If I call my Voicemail from a regular phone the messages are clear.... Does anyone have a solution.? I really do not want to switch back to Group, but will if I need to.

Well I couldn't find a solution and decided to go back to Froyo and actually Gingerbread was nice but my device seems smoother with 2.2.1... Oh well maybe when release is official it be better.
