I'm new to all this tech. I was able to upgrade from froyo 2.2 but i sorta wished I hadn't. Is it common to have a 20 second loading time in between applications to and from the homescreen? it's sort of an inconvenience.

Also can i go back to froyo? Any help would be pretty sweet.

No that is not common, there are some issues with the HTC white screen between applications and homepage. I've found that switching to a different launcher took care of that.

If you are still stock, go to Settings; click Power, uncheck Fastboot, restart phone.

I found this tip on another forum and am trying it. So far - it works. No white screen and no 10-15 sec wait for "loading...."
