i install the Ef02 ,but i never got it right . The first 3 times I did it with ODIN ,but it was killing my battery it lasted about 4 hours before reach 20%. Look and Look ,but no success in how to resolve it. In the battery used shows that the system was using 95% of battery, so I tried the cwm and this time the battery last longer ,but I kill the gps I try 3 times and the same. So I went back to ec05 and now everything is back to normal . I am going to wait until official release ,or until all the bugs are fix. Just to share my toughs .

Agreed sir! :-) i3 managing to pull off ext4 was a welcomed surprise ;-)
I suggest to the OP, that he try the app "Battery Calibration" for the issues he is experiencing. Every time you flash a new ROM, you need to calibrate the battery, because it will always be thrown off.
If you give i3 a try, and do the battery calibration, you will not be disappointed!
Best of luck:cool:

Don't forget, marcusant didn't do EXT4 it was Bonsai and the Bonsai Team that managed to hack EXT4 into EF02.

And I don't have to pay to get it on my phone... so being the only FREE gingerbread ROM with EXT4 makes me care very little about who did it.

That's not a good attitude. Regardless of the situation with Bonsai and their beta access it still remains that credit is deserved to who accomplished it. I fully understand the whole open source issue but at the same time someone obviously paid to get access to it in the first place and then passed it off to others.
There are similar issues going on right now on other devices and I really think if people don't start respecting one anothers work we are going to lose what we have all enjoyed so much.

Just my 2 cents.....

agreed. I donated to bonsai just cause and really enjoyed supporting a dev. More people should donate to devs

Yes, I've been aware that the crew at BonsaiGeeks did the work to get us to EXT4 on EF02. I was trying to say how amazed I was(in general) that we were all able to get any EXT4 ROM before an official GB/source-code.. I agree that they should get their due credit on this great mod, however, I share some of Andrew's sentiments as well. This just illustrates (IMO) how the "recognition-policing", and a for-profit/exclusive-club mentality, is tearing the community in several different directions. Eventually, all of the walls being put up between our communities are going to cause the type of division which will have us registering with a new website, and paying a mandatory fee each time we want to use a new ROM. This will be a community that is competitive instead of helpful, stingy instead of sharing, exclusive instead of inclusive...basically, completely unrecognizable. To avoid this, it will take both pushing forces to be understanding. That means that those people who develop will need to be extra considerate and aware in giving proper acknowledgments when using other's work. But, it also means that other developers who notice an instance in which they weren't acknowledged, need to keep a cool head, contact the developer privately first, and give them a chance to fix their oversight-and in doing this, always keeping in mind, that when someone is creating&sharing something new, even when using a tool/idea which another dev provided, it can only help the community to grow larger and flourish with options-no matter who gets the "glory"... I think some at XDA truly overreacted, carelessly slandering Marcusant's work&reputation, as if the kid wasn't a pretty smart developer(with or without Bonsai's kernel). I honestly do not believe he was trying to make others think that he did work himself, that he actually didn't. I could be wrong-but so could those people.
Bottom line is, the Bonsai Team has the right to go in whatever direction they please. They have provided so many amazing things to the Epic community-all of which, have been of the highest quality. No one can control what they do, but just as they have freedom, we do too. We have control over how we treat others in the community. We have the choice to help others when they don't understand. We have the choice to flame others out of frustration. We have the choice to give back whatever talents we may posses. We have the choice to leech..
We all get to choose how we take advantage of the community all of us love. So, if we want to see our mostly open/non-profit community last, we should all think about what we need to do to make that happen.

And I do. I donated $50 to PFMedic's phone fund. It was a much more worthy cause. I don't discredit the Bonsai team, their ROMs are great. Just charging for early access is rubbish.
