Gingeritis is one of my favorite roms. The battery life compares to that of an AOSP rom. The last build had to many bugs for me, but I'm definitely flashing this when I get home.

I feel your pain, Ed! I have grown fond of Eternity, but I always come back to G3D. Everything works, even Visual Voice Mail. This new version improves on what I already thought was the best ROM for a daily driver.

Try it out everyone! You won't be disappointed.

difference between this and ROM InfectedROM Eternity NIGHTLYS 3.5? I like InfectedRom but its starting to get laggy and buggy. If someone would tell me the differences between InfectedROM and this I would greatly appreciate it!

This ROM is a Sense 3.0 with a bunch of extras. Eternity is, of course, Sense 3.5. I really like InfectedROM Eternity, and have also recently experienced lag. Gingeritis 3D is just a bit more solid to me. All the Sense 3.0 stuff that is baked in works, and every app I use (including VVM) is flawless. G3D is fast, and I've never had lag issues with v1.07 or v1.1 probably due to Ziggy's kernel which is included in this ROM. Battery life is top-notch too. The new updates included in v1.1 are very cool. The ONLY thing I miss about Eternity is the sweet 3.5 mini weather clock and it's very polished appearance.

Gingeritis 3D, with this latest version 1.1 is back on top of my favorite ROMs list.

RootzWiki post did not have a changelog for the new v1.1... so I went out to TheMikMik's website and found the following:

December 16th v1.1:

• Brand new Tweaks App with loads of new features
• New Tweaks
  • Hide/Show Alarm Clock
  • MIUI Style Battery Bar
  • Enable/Disable Volume Wake On-the-Fly
  • Signal Bar Tweaks (Coloring the bars DOES NOT work, but everything else does)
  • Animation Speeds
  • Softkey Backlight On/Off Option
  • System Tweaks - Reboot Options, god Mode, Mount Options, Memory Settings, Fix permissions, wipe dalvik, wipe cache, tons of enable/disable commands
  • Extras - Download Center w/ Skins and recommend apps, boot animation sounds, boot animations, volume rocker sounds, screen lock sounds, shutdown animations, fonts
• Got rid of that ugly grayish blue recent apps background
• Changed back to ziggy's kernel to help with the reboot issue w/ the stock kernel
• You can now change your lock screen on the fly, no need to reboot to apply
• AddedShake to answer so when you have the end call bug just shake your phone! (Thanks prdog)
• Removed Sync Animation
• Updated all apps
• Decompressed all m10's to hopefully improve battery life a bit
• Fixed HTC Sense version string in settings to read 3.0
• Removed Spare Parts - merged most of it's settings into the tweaks app
• Removed Skins to decrease size of the rom - you can download them via the tweaks app
• Renamed Gingeritis Tweaks to MikTweaks so it is more universal with all MikRoms
• And I'm sure I'm forgetting tons of other things? its been over a month and I've been adding little things at a time.. lol

Note: After flashing check to see if Beats Audio works. If it doesn't, reflash until it does work on a clean flash

So I just flashed this ROM. On my previous ROM flashes, after reboot, my apps automatically redownload. They didn't do that this time. I didn't have them all backed up. Is there something I did wrong, or am I screwed and have to redownload myself?

Some ROMs will download your apps automatically... some don't... if it doesn't... first, start the Market app, let it sit for a few minutes... then try rebooting and give it a few minutes again... then if you have nothing you might just as well start downloading them.

Or if you made a nandroid before flashing go back to it and use Titanium back up to back everything up and reflash. Then go to the market and reload Tibu and use Tibu to reload your apps. I don't even use Google anymore Tibu does it all so much faster and you can keep your app data.

Just flashed this rom. So far the only problem is have is the ringer and notifications volume is not working. I tried using the side buttons and going into settings and still nothing. Anyone else flashed this yet. I downloaded this rom through my phone. It's the first time I have done that, so I don't know if that could be the issue.

Figured out the problem. I have the android lockscreen and it was set on silent. Weird how using the volume buttons don't override it.

Mine is doing the same thing. no ringer volume. How did you fix it?

I had changed my lock ring to the android lock and it was set on silent by default. Just put in on sound on and it worked.

Loving this ROM so far especially with this new kernel and such however I'm having the no ringer or notification volume issue but can't figure it out. Can anyone walk me through the process of adjusting back to having a ringer please? I've gone through the mikitweaks to find the lock volume but can't find it.

Hold the power button down until the boot menu comes up, then turn silent mode off. That worked for me.

Or go to setting/sounds/ click sound profile, and chose normal... This worked for me.
