Give my Nexus to my wife???

I have a Galaxy Nexus running Bugless Beat Jelly Bean. Love it.

My wife had a Droid X2 and she loved it but she cracked the screen on it.

Should I give my wife the Nexus and buy myself the S3?

Wife does not need much from phone- 4G not needed. She does prefer a phone with decent battery life though.

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Yea screw that the S3 is nice but I'm so over overlays and delayed updates I would get her a nexus too or just buy something cheaper outright

That's tricky. How much every day does she use her phone? With the regular battery, you'll get about 3 hours of screen on time (a bit more with a custom kernel probably). If that's enough for her, then I would say giving her your nexus. However, at this point I would suggest for to wait, either until the new quad core Krait processors, or the dual core Exynos 5 are out. Essentially, the next round of phones coming out this fall (including the new nexus(es)), will be fantastic, and if you can you should wait.

If you can't, the Galaxy S3 is a fantastic phone if you like touchwiz or are ok with custom roms.
