Give us some feedback!

My partner loves his phone. Very responsive and the fingerprint scanner is fast. He took his first picture last night and it came out great and it was just a quick snapshot. I didn't get much time on it so I can't say much, but I think it looks great but it IS slippery. He has dropped it a few times, even with a tpu case on it, but thankfully it held up and nothing bad has happened. That Uh oh is going to come in handy soon I think.

Yeah, does anyone have a personal review of this phone yet, and especially the battery life. $499 is just too expensive, $399 was killer, I wish I had more information on it before the price went up.

If you actually read the thread, i posted a review. Battery life to me is acceptable. I play with it a lot, so I'm running it down frequently, but I keep a charging source, be it a external battery pack or charge cable. On days where I'm not gaming on it, it lasts pretty much all day. I keep the screen on about 1/3 or 2/5 brightness, and that is very visible even outside to me.

The only apps that I've had issues with are ones that seem to be having issues with any phone on MM so far. Once they're updated, they work (Epic War TD 2 is a perfect example.)

Do you have a case on yours? He took his off today to try a magnetic mount from aukey and I swear, literally he let it slip it right out of his hands 5 seconds later.

I just wish seidio would make a case and holster for him, and maybe they will if they get enough requests, but they said no originally.

I've only owned the M7 and had no issues with it, so are you talking the M8 or M9?

Problem is everyone wants super slim phones and you add metal to the mix, or glass and there isn't anything to hold onto. Same thing with my 6p.

I have the Dot View Ice on mine, got it when it was on sale. It's comfortable, gives good grip, is easy to pop off if you need to for whatever reason.

I've had my unlocked Deep Garnet for a couple days now. I absolutely love it. The color is exactly what I had hoped for. The response is fantastic. The finger scanner is super fast and works every time so far. As expected, the battery life may be suspect but fine for me so far. I was playing around with it and setting it up yesterday quite a bit. Screen time was just under 3 hours and I still had 31%. It was uplugged from around 6 AM to 10:30 PM. As others have stated, it is slippery. I bought the clear HTC case and not to sure about it. It seems a little stiff and needs more pressure to push the power and volume buttons than I'd like. I may pick up a different one. Over all, I love the phone.

can you tell how this case works like does the notification light still show?I need this at work to let me know missed txt or calls worried the case blocks the light?
have 50 dollar code to use at htc.com plan on getting this case, but code says i can use Starting Christmas Day.

thanks

The case fits perfectly and does not block the notification light. It's a nice case but too stiff in my opinion. It takes more pressure to work the buttons than I like. I have ordered a different clear case from Amazon that is more plyable. The pressure to push the buttons isn't much different than without a case.
