Giving the Charge to my brother, possible to use my sim card?

Does anyone know if Verizon can they transfer his number to my old sim card, or does he have to get a new one? He's coming from a Droid 2 so he might have to update his data plan from 3G to 4G, which also has me worried he'll lose unlimited data.

No need for an upgrade onto 4G either. But I could be wrong. I just got my wifes old charge so I gotta get over to VZW for a new sim card too. :banghead: it sucks that the charge and nexus dont use the same sim
